Tarzan and Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy to be May’s Autism Friendly Films

TarzanFamily films Tarzan and Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy are to be May’s Autism Friendly Films, service provider Dimensions has announced.

On Sunday, May 11, ODEON and Showcase cinemas will show Tarzan, starting at 11am and 11.30am respectively. Cineworld showed the film last Sunday.

Vue will show Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy on Sunday, May 25, starting at 10am.

In Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy, Tinker Bell and her friends go on an adventure to find Pixie Hollow’s Blue Pixie Dust, which has been stolen by another fairy, Zarina. But Tink and her friends’ pursuit is complicated when they find that all their respective talents have been switched. Can they find the Blue Pixie Dust and save Pixie Hollow before it is too late?

Meanwhile in Tarzan, the eponymous hero, along with Jane Porter, face a mercenary army dispatched by the evil CEO of Greystoke Energies, who took over the company from Tarzan’s parents after they died in a plane crash.

Sensory friendly environment

Autism Friendly Screenings are mainstream films shown in a sensory friendly environment. Lights are on low, sound is turned down, trailers are omitted and people can bring their own food, make noise and move around the cinema as they feel comfortable.
